Today I had a different challenge!! One of our staff is Persian so when we worked through this assignment we were pleased to see that it was offered in Farsi! Of course!! Why not?? So, she opted to use her language as the default for “what language will you be mostly blogging in”.
It was exciting to see her face light up and hear her giggle as she moved through the exercise. For me?? this was challenging as I’m not yet familiar what all the buttons say in English “save” “publish” etc etc, and they are on the opposite sides of the screen. Even the scroll bar is on the left! So it was an interesting exercise for me, and I’m going to have to go back now and look to see why what she wrote, though it began in the box right to left, didn’t translate into Farsi, but instead remained in English. Updates to this to be posted later.
It’s so great to see people creating blogs and to go to the pages and learn something new about people!! BRAVO!! BRAVA!! and Haleh?? how do you say it in Farsi?
UPDATE: I found it, we need to update the language she writes in, right now it’s just what language is the interface, YEAH!!
